Captain Mauricio
Meet Captain Mauricio, a seasoned saltwater fisherman with a lifetime experience of working on the water. He enjoys fishing during his free time and is always ready to assist you with your needs. With his excellent communication skills and fluency in English, you can rest assured that he will promptly respond to any questions and even help with your children if necessary. Prior to joining North Pacific Tours, Mauricio served as a divemaster for many years, giving him a unique ability to read the Papagayo Gulf’s waters both above and below.
Mate Danny w/ Captain Mauricio
Danny, a fisherman born and raised in Playas del Coco, has been an integral part of the North Pacific Tours team since its inception, working with us for the past 17 years. He is the son of Daniel, who was our captain for many years until he passed away. Danny has an exceptional ability to read the waters of the Papagayo Gulf, thanks to his extensive experience in the region. You can rest assured that you are in safe hands with him.
Lisa
Lisa has lived in Costa Rica for over 20 years and is your main point of contact for North Pacific Tours sport fishing charters. She has been a part of the NPT team since its inception and can answer any questions about the reservation process or Costa Rica. Lisa left her job in New York City in 2004 and moved to Playas del Coco for an outdoorsy job on the water. While pursuing her dive master certification, she fell in love with Costa Rica and has lived there ever since. She has traded her business suits and high heels for flip-flops and beachwear and now enjoys living her dream without the dreaded two-hour commute. Lisa is also a real estate agent with Tres Amigos Realty Group, so if you’re interested in living the dream and an outdoor lifestyle, she can help you with that, too!
